Mint, sealed double deck of cards, maker unknown, published in 1984 to commemorate the 100th anniversary since Engine No. 1 was built in 1884 for the Soo Line Railroad. In the same year, 1884, construction began on the 500-mile railroad route between the Twin Cities (Minneapolis / St. Paul) and Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan that would become the Soo Line route.
I have elected not to open these decks. I can see through the wrapper that each deck has an insert card with a brief history of the Soo Line, and I assume that each deck also has 52 cards and 2 Jokers. The cards are bridge size, measuring 89mm x 57mm, and the wrapped decks come in a plastic box that may be original.
The cards are mint and sealed, and the hard plastic box is “as new.”
