Lovely and sweet large size All Bisque Kestner doll. Marked 208 and size number 8 on the head and on all arms and legs. Circa 1890-1910
She stands 9 inches tall
Pristine condition with only 1 pin size very very small chip at the right leg, see pic. There is a 1/2 inch firing line at the side of the head that occurred during the making, see pic. It is not a hairline.
She has tiny brown glass sleep eyes in their Original setting, Original mohair wig with silk bow, 4 tiny teeth. Her eyebrows are feathered and she has painted upper and lower eyelashes. She has white painted socks with a blue edge and black painted one strap shoes. All paintwork is without flaws or rubs. She is one of the earlier all bisque dolls and has very high quality bisque and painting.
She is wearing a nice hand sewn cotton and lace dress.
Due to the firing line I will sell her for a very reasonable price.
