This beautiful necklace was sold to me as a Victorian piece, but I believe it is actually from the mid-century Victorian Revival (circa 1940's).
The pendant features two diamonds framed by black enamel. There is another diamond on the bale. The largest diamond measures 3.5 mm, the other two are almost 2.5 mm. The jeweler I purchased this from provided the following information about the diamonds: 3 natural diamonds; total weight ~.25ct; transitional cut; G color; VS2 clarity; excellent cut.
Both the pendant and the clasp are marked for 14K gold (the clasp is marked 585 which is the European marking for 14K) and the total weight is 3.3 grams.
The pendant measures 1.25" in length x 3/8" wide. The chain is slightly over 17".
This is a beautiful and elegant necklace for you or someone you love!
