A naughty cold painted Vienna bronze! This intriguing early 20th c example depicts a young woman wearing a revealing night gown. She sits to put on (or take off) her shoe. The bottom of the chair opens to reveal her underside (=which is also cold painted. A high quality Vienna bronze, possibly modeled and cast by an artist at the Bergman foundry. These pieces were often displayed and coveted by affluent gentlemen of the time. A rare and unique example!

Condition: In good original condition with no damages or repairs. Expected areas of wear to the cold paint. The original patina has been left untouched.
