Offered here is a wonderful silver dish, made in continental Europe in the late 19th century. This unique piece of Judaica silver is wonderfully pierced and chased throughout with acanthus leaf and vine designs. The sides are wonderfully curved, giving depth to the piece - likely a candy dish. The central medallion features a view of Jerusalem, the ancient capital of the Jewish people, with the city in Hebrew just above. Nice detail to the Jerusalem stone buildings. Marked 800 (for 800/1000 silver purity) and one other hallmark. A one of a kind piece, sure to please any Judaica or silver collector!
Condition: Excellent original condition with no damages or repairs. Has a beautiful patina, I have left it unpolished.
