Two different styles of bright gold-tone chain hold a clear acrylic fishbowl pendant with a gold-tone edge and five different sizes of embedded goldfish. The fishbowl is 1-5/8" wide x 1-3/8" high and is rounded and very dimensional at 7/8" deep. The shorter chain is 26" and the longer chain is 33".
It has a small tassel charm signed "HMS".
The necklace is in excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks to the fishbowl, the plating intact, the spring ring clasp working correctly.
It is even more great looking in person. I have several of these fishbowls and they always garner attention when worn.
The necklace can be seen in at least three different jewelry books, including "Fun Jewelry" and "Popular Jewelry of the '60s, '70s & '80s". Researching Costume Jewelry (a wonderful and informative web site) says that "HMS" hang-tags were used by a company called Madeira Creations that was in business in the 1960's.
