This charming polka dot puppy dog looks like a Bonzo character and has a red velvet pincushion in the top center of the lustreware piece attached on his side. It was made in Japan and is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, repairs or crazing, and some light wear to the orange paint on the edges and corners of the bisque pin cushion holder and some wear on the red velvet of the top of the pincushion in one corner. It dates to the 1930s, has a nice Art Deco look to it and is marked on the underside as shown. Its 3 & 1/2 inches high by almost 4 inches wide.
