This delightful vintage die cut calendar for the year 1976 was given out by The Dutchman's Brau Haus and Restaurant of Long Beach Island Causeway, NJ, a restaurant that was originally opened in 1952, and continues operating today, but is currently closed for necessary renovations, typical of a waterfront restaurant. The die cut top is embossed and features a funny pink pig walking ahead of a man carrying meats and sausages. It is stamped W Germany in the grass below the pig and it was never used, so all the months are there, from January to February. It is 9.25 by 6.25 inches and in very good condition with no rips or tears and the paper pad full of months is nice and clean. There is a prepunched hole in the middle of the sausages for hanging. The detail and color on the thick embossed cardboard die cut at the top is just wonderful. A nice piece of vintage advertising!
