This is a very nice postcard postmarked July 26,1948 of the cantilever Bridge at the White Pass for the Yukon Railroad in Alaska. The construction of the White Pass and Yukon Railroad was one of the most remarkable feats of railroading in the country. The cantilever bridge on this road is numbered among the highest railroad bridges of the world, being 215 feet high. This is a nice postcard from Alaska before it joined the United States. The post card in is nice condition and there is a nice hand written note on the back of the card.
