Published in 1952 by the Bookmart in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, this softcover book with 171 pages and fold out map inside the front cover is entitled People's Pictorial Edition The Blue and The Gray A History of the Conflicts During Lee's Invasion and Battle of Gettysburg. The author is Prof. J. Warren Gilbert and it has supplemented with Illustrations and the Stories of the Battle Flags of the Blue and Gray, compiled by N.A. Meligakes. It is in excellent, clean condition with no tears or marks on the pages, just a little spine wear. The map is in great shape as well and the cover is lovely, including the back cover as you can see in the pictures. Inside the front cover on the first page, it is stamped Gettysburg National Museum, Home of the Electric Map, as this was probably sold there originally, as if you are a Civil War/Gettysburg buff, you know that this museum has changed significantly since then. This would be a great addition to your library or collection.
