This is indeed an incredible find for the collector of unique old Christmas items - this is a large black and white glossy photograph of Santa Claus in front of his little building entitled Santa Claus Headquarters. This appears to be perhaps a theatre or department store display, as it is very well done and probably dates to the 1920s or 1930s. Note the wonderful details, including the reindeer on the roof and its footprints in the snow! On the back, the previous owner noted that it was from Hanover, PA. It is inside a cardboard sleeve frame, but it is loosened on the sides at the bottom so that you can lift it up and see the whole photo. The photo does not come out, it is glued down, in several spots, to the back of the cardboard frame. The frame shows a little wear, but has protected the extremely detailed photo quite well as it is in very good condition. The photo itself measures 8 by 10 inches and the cardboard sleeve frame is a little over 10.5 by 12.5 inches. This would be a great addition to your collection!
