This is a neat piece of vintage 1930s era Christmas - a heavy chalk ware or plaster of paris planter in the shape of Santa with his bag - inside the bag is a tin liner so you could safely use this as a planter or floral display piece, or even a candle. It is a very heavy solid piece with its original paint and Santa has blue eyes. On the back of Santa, the name Kleiner is impressed for Herman J Kleiner. Overall condition is very good with no damage and paint wear is minor, but the pictures really tell the story. He is 7.5 inches tall and about 6 inches wide. The opening in Santa's sack is 2 inches in diameter.
