This is a nice find for the military collector - published by the Leatherneck Association of Washington, DC in 1946, this is the third printing of the Guidebook for Marines, a harder to find volume from this era. It is a softcover 372 page volume - the brown cover is an oil cloth type material to protect it from water. It is illustrated in black and white and was intended to provide each Marine with the essentials of his work and careful explanations of his everyday tools. Condition is good, but there is some age discoloring to the pages, some cover wear and some water stained pages in the front. The pages are tight and the binding is strong, though.
