This is a lovely Victorian era hardcover childrens book published in 1879 by Cassell, Petter and Galpin of New York, London and Paris and sold at Donaldson Brothers, Five Points, New York. It is titled Childhoods Happy Hours and was copyrighted by O.M. Dunham. It has a beautiful color lithograph cover and advertising on the back, with black and white illustrations throughout its 128 pages. It is in very good condition, with clean, tight pages and a strong binding. There is corner and edge wear and corner bumps, but overall, the cover is in nice shape with minor wear. There is foxing inside the front and back covers, but not throughout the book. This is a lovely example of a Victorian children's book. A great addition to a library or collection of children's books!
