This is a lovely Victorian children's book, circa 1870s, entitle Broken Bread or the Value of Little Gifts. It has a lovely color illustration inside and on the front cover. It features 5 short stores inside with religious and moral lessons. It is a small hardcover volume, measuring about 3 & 5/8 by 5 & 5/8 inches and was published in New York by Thomas Nelson and Sons. It is in good condition with a string binding and tight pages. There is some light foxing, but the pages are clean and free writing from a child, as we sometimes find in older childrens books. There is a little cover, corner and spine wear, but overall, this darling little ebook is in nice shape for its age.
