This is a nice find for the aviation enthusiast - printed in England by Netherwood Dalton & Co Ltd of Huddersfield (noted on the last page of the book), this is Jane's All the World's Aircraft for the years 1957 - 1957. It is an oversized hardcover book with blue cover and gold gilt lettering. There are 122 pages of glossy color and black and white advertising pages in the front and 12 more ad pages in the back throughout the index. The world's civil aviation is arranged in the book in alphabetical order of nations, national air force markings are detailed, airlines of the world, and finally all the world's aeroplanes or airplanes are there, with wonderful black and white illustrations of the planes as well as the incredible detail that Jane's was known for in these annuals that they published.
Overall condition is very good, with clean tight pages and a strong binding. There are 454 numbered pages in addition to all the advertising pages and the index. There is some cover wear, mainly some light stains on the front and a few marks on the back. Property of US Navy is stamped on the top of the book where the pages are closed in black. This would be a great addition to your library or collection.
