The watercolor features a brownstone barn typical to the many farms scenes in Pennsylvania and throughout the northeast. This lovely watercolor is well executed by the artist in 1978. Notice the detail of the cows in the pasture and the prongs on the barbwire fence. It takes a talented artist to bring such detail to a watercolor painting. A google search reveal the artist has sold at some auctions but I could not find more history of her/his work or a bio. Obviously the artist is talented as revealed in this stunning watercolor. The watercolor has been professionally framed and has glare free glass. The frame is 20 by 17 inches and the watercolor 13 by 10 inches and lays beneath a double mat of cream and gray. Take a moment and review all of the photographs. I have captured some of the detail and technique in this magnificent watercolor. The frame and watercolor are in very good condition. This is a joy to look at and would add beauty to any decor in your home.
