This is a beautiful old pair of Victorian era brown leather high top lace up boots for a lady. Inside the top of one shoe is faintly stamped in gold on the leather Fry Shoe Co Omaha. The other shoe also has a gold stamp on the inside top from a store in Rochester, NY. I cannot make out the name of the store as it is somewhat rubbed off. I did not find a size stamp, but the numbers stamped in black on the lining of each are 39-00050180 and 837. They have their original wood heels and leather soles and overall condition is good. There is some wear to the leather on the tips of each and the heels, normal wear and tear, though, I would say. The laces are also original and in good condition. The grommets for each hole are also present and the shoes are quite sturdy, given the age. They are just over 10 inches tall and the measurements of the the sole are about 10 inches long and under 3 inches at the widest part (narrow feet once wore these!). Overall, this is a lovely old pair in nice condition.
