This is a lovely early aesthetic pattern red transfer platter that features a bird in the center. It measures 9 & 3/8 by 11 & 3/4 inches and is unmarked on the back except for an impressed number 10. It is in good condition with light wear, faint staining near the top and a very 3/4 tight hairline on the back. There are also two flakes off the rim on the underside, visible only form the back. It displays wonderfully, with its unique pattern, and is a nice example of early aesthetic transfer ware.
