This is a neat old piece of California Art Pottery. I believe the make is La Mirada and the subject is a deer. It has lovely pale tones of turquoise blue and pink, with a mottle or speckled glaze. It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, repairs or crazing and stands 5 inches tall and 4.25 inches long. Under his head, there are a few pin pricks in the glaze, probably from bubbling in the making. It most likely would have had a paper La Mirada label. There is what looks like an extremely old price tag on the underside, but I can't make it out.
