Available are Two Post World War 2 Photographs of Lady Mountbatten. The photo were taken on October 6, 1945 of a visit to Manila’s 29th Replacement Depot. Also in the photos are LT General Styer and Major General Uhl. Each of the photos have a piece of paper with a description that as been paper clipped to the photo. There is some rust that has transferred to the picture from the paper clip. There is also a handwritten note describing the situation. The photos were taken at Nichols Air Field in Manila. Nichols Air Field was held until the Spring of 1945. These photographs were taken shortly after the Japanese surrender. Both photos have slight stains from the paper clips and measure 8 by 10 inches. Each photograph is marked on the back as shown in our pictures. Both of the photos mark a happy time when the war was over.
