Available is a Miniature Tin Type of a Young Boy in Paper Frame Patented March 7, 1866. This miniature is perfect for a doll house or other display of miniatures. The oval picture measures 3/4 by 5/8 inch. The little portrait is surround by an embossed oval inside a paper frame. Notice the rose tinting on the boy’s cheek. The frame has a golden border and in each corner is a harp surrounded by a vine. The best surprise is the printing on the frame: Potter’s Patent March 7, 1866. The portrait was taken around the Civil War. The condition is very good. The overall frame measure 4 by 2 3/8 inches. Please examine the pictures and feel free to email me with questions.
