D Peres started making scissors and shears in Germany in the late 1700s. Later in the late 1800s, Peres started to make egg cutters. Soft boiled eggs were a popular breakfast, and these shears would cut the top off the egg neatly so the insides could be eaten without breaking the whole shell.

This egg cutter is in the shape of a rooster and is in good vintage condition as shown in the photographs. Please take a moment and review the photographs.

The egg cutter is hand size measuring 5 ½ inches long. The cutter can still be used to open your breakfast egg, or you can just add it to a kitchen collectible display. Enjoy!
