Four natural round pearls orbit a stunning old mine cut diamond on this beautiful Victorian ring.
The 3-mm pearls, set in solid 18K yellow gold mounts, have wonderful lustre and though slightly different shape and colour, are beautifully matched overall. The diamond is a really stunning stone, square shaped with rounded corners and very clear and sparkly. At 0.35 carats, it's about I colour (as many of the old stones were). Definitely a show stopper!
Ring head measures 3/8." SIZE is currently 6&3/4, and it can be re-sized to fit. WEIGHT: 3.2 grams.
The ring is in fantastic shape for its age: it has a substantial 18K yellow gold band and none of the gems are damaged. There is evidence of an old re-sizing at the back of the band, which may have removed the ring's hallmarks. The metal tests as 18K gold. Could benefit from a light clean.
