Lovely Victorian bracelet from circa 1882 has wonderful engraving and a beautiful trim of silver orbs!
The front of the piece is embellished with a very pretty floral design, complete with blossoms, leaves and butterflies. The work is framed in extremely fine lined engraving on all four sides. Top and bottom outer edges are decorated with lovely silver beads, which adds a bold look. The back is plain silver with engraved initials. Typically Victorian!
Bracelet is in excellent shape for its age, with a few tiny dings to the back (barely noticeable). It opens with a push-in clasp which snaps shut.
Measures 1&1/4" wide including the beads and weighs 33.6 grams. Inner diameter is approx. 2&1/8" or about 6.9-7" wide.
Inside is stamped "STERLING", and "July 24th, 1882." Outside is engraved "WAG to EJF."
