These beautifully made 18K white gold gemstone diamond earrings are absolutely stunning.
Two flower drops set with natural pink tourmalines and pale yellow citrine combine with sparkling diamonds for a truly magnificent look! The post-backed hang beautifully--the shape of the earrings frame the face in an utterly lovely way.
The tourmalines are a wonderful dusty-rose colour; each flower contains three pear-shaped faceted stones, for a total of 2.80 cts. With fantastic lustre and sparkle, the tourmalines go beautifully with the yellow citrine stones, also pear-cut. Total carat weight of the citrines is 2.40 cts. The diamonds are a great addition to the other gems. Each flower has one pave-set diamond petal and one bezel-set diamond; there are a further three diamonds suspended at the bottom of each earring. Twenty-eight small round-cut diamonds in total. Measure approx. 1&1/4" long by 1/2" across. Weight: 6.1 grams. Date to the early 1990's.
The pair come with expensive white gold backings, the larger ones that can hold just about any weight. They and super secure-- earrings will not droop.
Excellent condition. I can't see any damage and only the very slightest amount of wear.
Earrings are stamped "18K", and both backs are also stamped "750" with maker's mark, "KS." An amazing pair not to be missed! Perfect for summer.
