I love these colourful gem-laden handbag pendants by Mirabelle!
This mini purse is beautifully designed, made up of vivid pink sapphires and sparkling white diamonds, all set in 18K white gold. The wee purse is set with a total of 18 round-cut sapphires and 16 round-cut diamonds. The blend of the two gems is stunning!
Mirabelle was part of the House of Taylor design, founded by film star Elizabeth Taylor. The firm disbanded in 2008 and Mirabelle became a part of Kathy Ireland Worldwide. Mirabelle now produces other lines of jewelry, but it is best known for its beautiful gem-set diamond handbag pendants.
This lovely purse measures about 5/8" tall by 3/4" across. It comes with an 18" white gold chain stamped "750" for 18K gold. The purses retailed for $1,000 and up when they first came on the market.
As far as I know the pendants are now retired, but this pocketbook is in excellent condition, with no damage, and just very slight wear.
Piece is stamped with the company "M" logo with "18K" below and a tiny white diamond just above, on the back. Terrific!
