Vintage late 1940s satin weave rayon fabric features a novelty figural Persian print in black, blueberry, jade, and yellow on a cinnamon ground.
The stylized foliate pattern is accented by larger medallion-like "miniatures" of kings, horseback riders, lute players, and standing crowned figures.
Photo #7 shows the face and the reverse of the print side by side.
Perfect for making a period dress with peplum or hip swag, the silky fabric measures 42” from selvage to selvage and is 4 yards long. It is unused stock from the estate of 2 local seamstresses; please see my other listings for more vintage fabric, mostly in pre-cut dressmaker lengths, from the same estate.
