Vintage mid-1950s silk satin tie in a rich navy blue is jacquarded with oval designs and features what diagonal stripes and a scattering of crown motifs (in pink, white, and red) on the blade ends. The designs appear to be hand-stencilled/painted.
Tipped in sheer white satin, the tie has no labels of any kind. I believe the fabric to be silk rather than rayon, based on the luster and soft, fluid hand of the satin.
Measuring 51.5” long by 3.25” across the front blade, this handsome tie is in excellent condition.
