Armand Lemo (French 1881-1935) Art Deco Dark Brown Patinated Bronze Sculpture of a Borzoi Dog in bowing “play” stance mounted on a fine original variegated marble base, stepped at either end in the Art Deco architectural style. Signed “Lemo” in the base.

This is genuinely of the Art Deco period of which the borzoi and stepped base are typical. We particularly like how the borzoi has been portrayed in bowing “play” stance.

CONDITION:
Generally in good condition. Minor rubbing of patina at high points, e.g. the dog's nose, and a few flecks elsewhere. 2 dull patches on right flank, possibly covering partina losses.
