F R Elwell (British) Pair of Still Life Paintings of Flowers (1991) Oil on Board. Both signed . One also dated. One signed and titled on back “Flowers from my garden June-July”. Each 19.75” (50cm) x 15.75” (40cm) sight (visible painting). 23” (58.5cm) x 18.75” (48cm).

CONDITION: Both in clean, ready to hang condition. Tiny scuffs to frames and small chip on top right corner of one.

We were attracted to these both for the detail and their brightly-colored poster-like quality. We think they would work very well decoratively in a fairly minimalist, perhaps mid-century setting, maybe set against plain white walls.

We regret we know nothing more about the artist.
