This 10 inch tall doll, circa the 1940s, represents a Red Cross nurse. She has a paper label attached to her skirt that reads, "This is a Lulazo Doll//Hand-Made by// Lucille L. Zoller." The cloth doll has hand painted facial features and embroidery floss hair. She wears a cotton Red Cross nurse uniform. Her shoes appear to be black leather. The body is all cotton cloth. The doll is jointed at the shoulders and hips so that she can either stand or sit. She is in very good clean condition with some age discoloration to the fabrics. This is a unique and interesting doll that would be a great addition to a cloth doll collection or if your dolls need a little care and nursing.
