This 7 inch tall Little Betty composition doll, circa the 1930s, was produced by the Madame Alexander Doll Company. She has a five piece composition body jointed at the shoulders and hips. She has molded and painted facial features, shoes, and socks. The back of the body is marked in raised lettering, "MME//ALEXANDER." She retains her original blonde mohair wig and costume including her felt bonnet. The clothing is in good condition with some age discoloration. The felt bonnet has fading and discoloration on the back. The doll is in good condition with very little crazing and no repaint or repair. She is missing the tip of her right thumb and the composition coating on this finger. She is a sweet little vintage doll with perky side glancing painted eyes.
