This 5 ¾ inch doll was manufactured by Effanbee Dolls in 1935. She is all composition and jointed at the shoulders and hips. The molded hair is light brown and the painted facial features include blue eyes and a closed mouth. She also has black molded strap shoes with white molded socks. The doll is marked on the back in raised letters, "Effanbee/Wee Patsy." This doll is in excellent condition with no repaint and virtually no crazing. There is a slight pin dot spot of roughness on the tip of the nose and some very minor paint wear on the fingers. I believe the pink organdy dress decorated with rick rack may be original. Someone has attached pink panties to the dress that were added at a later date. One of the most popular dolls in the Effanbee Patsy family, this petite doll commands a higher price than many of her larger siblings.
