This 3 ½ inch tall doll, circa the late 19th or early 20th century, is definitely of German origin but I cannot see any identifying marks. She has a stiff neck and is jointed at the shoulders and hips. The doll has set glass eyes and her original curly mohair wig. She has molded and painted knee length black heeled boots. The doll wears and antique dress that is sewn onto her body. The dress now appears grey but was originally blue but is not faded. She also wears her original ecru lace trimmed underclothing. The little lady appears to be in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. I was unable to completely examine the doll as I did not want to remove the old dress but do believe she has no damage.
