This is one of the cutest examples of this mold that I have ever owned. The 17 ½ inch tall doll, circa 1911, has a bisque socket head with a composition five piece toddler body. The doll has brown glass sleep eyes and an open mouth with two upper teeth and a wobble tongue. The bisque is quite beautiful with deep modeling. The doll also retains her original blonde mohair wig. The head is incised "K*R//S&H//116A." The head, created by Simon & Halbig, has no chips, cracks, or repairs. The toddler body is in very good condition with old repaint to the legs. I believe the lace trimmed cotton organdy dress may be original to the doll. She also wears antique cotton underclothing that may be original too. This is such a great character doll that makes you happy just to look at her.
