This 12 inch tall doll, circa the 1930s, has composition flange neck heads and arms with a cloth body. She is in excellent all original condition. I have never seen a topsy turvy like this one before. The costumes are created from bright cotton print fabric, wool, felt, ribbon, and lace. My guess is that these are French ethnic costumes but I do not know for sure. One end of the doll is an older child while the other is more of a baby. The facial features are hand painted and with decals for the eyes. I can see no markings on the doll; however, the clothing is sewn on so I have limited ability to inspect. If love early composition dolls or topsy turvy dolls, here is a great example with much charm.
