Humorous German Bisque Piano Baby Pulling off Her Sock
This 5 ¼ inch tall bisque piano baby, circa the late 19th or early 20th century, is unmarked but definitely of German origin. The little girl with an open/closed mouth and painted eyes is in the process of pulling off her pink sock. She is sitting on a yellow pillow with tassels at each corner. There is a small pocket receptacle in the back of the figurine. She is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. I love to display these little babies with German bisque dolls as they complement the dolls and create great vignettes with them.
