This 13 inch tall composition boy, circa the 1930s, is dressed in his original costume as a colonial young gentleman. He may actually have been created to resemble George Washington. The doll is completely unmarked but remains me of a Patsy doll. He is all composition and jointed at the shoulders and hips. He has painted facial features and a white mohair wig. The doll and costume are in excellent clean basically unplayed with condition. The composition has no crazing but there is a split at the seam of the composition on the left side of the torso. I believe this probably happened when the doll was first created. He is a little charmer.
