This 17 inch tall baby doll, circa the 1940s, was created by E.I. Horsman & Company. She has a composition solid dome flange neck head, with composition hands and lower legs. Her bent limb baby body also has a cloth torso jointed at the shoulders and hips. She has sleep eyes with original eyelashes. There are a few lashes missing from the right eye. The clothing is in original unplayed with condition. I could not bring myself to undress the baby as the clothing has never been removed from the doll and I did not want to disturb the originality. The composition is lovely on this doll with bright original blushing on her cheeks and knees. There is virtually no crazing on this doll except for a crack on the top of the head and some cracking on her lower right leg and foot. Fortunately both of these spots are covered by her bonnet, shoe, and sock. To complete the fabulous originality of this doll, she also comes with her original cardboard box that still contains the original tissue. The box still retains the original Eckerd Drug Stores price sticker indicating the $7.98 price.
