This 5 ½ inch tall doll, circa the second quarter of the 20th century, has a bisque socket head and a composition body jointed at the shoulders and hips. She has a wooden squeaker in her chest that still functions. The bisque head, with no chips, cracks, or repairs, has a closed mouth and black glass sleep eyes. The back of the head is marked but I cannot read the mark. She was most likely manufactured in China. Her two piece outfit is original to the doll. She also has her original black human hair wig and a gold head band with bead and red fabric flower decoration. I was amazed at the all original condition of this doll and overall appeal.
