This 12 inch tall doll, circa second quarter of the 20th century, is made from a brown sock. As he is stuffed with cotton batting, he is quite soft and cuddly. The facial features and ears are needle sculpted and embroidered with wool yarn. The doll is clean with one small hole just above the nose sculpting. The hair is represented cleverly by the ribbing part of the sock. If you like early handmade stuffed toys, this little guy is calling your name.
