This pair of dolls, circa 1987, was created by artist R. John Wright, in a limited edition of 500. They are made to resemble two of his children, Lillian (426/500) and Arthur (422/500). Lillian, 20 inches tall, and Arthur, 18 inches tall, are part of the Wright Classic Childhood Series entitled Little Brother/Little Sister. Both are in very good unplayed with condition. I do not have the box(es) but both dolls retain their sewn on cardboard tags. Arthur has some slight discoloration to the back of his white cotton shirt. This could be washed but I did not want to disturb the originality nor remove the sewn on cardboard tag to do this. Each doll has molded and a painted felt head with a mohair wigs and felt covered jointed body. The dolls hold their beloved toys. Lillian has a jump rope and Arthur has a fabulous wood and cloth toy sailboat.
