This 14 inch tall wooden doll, circa the first quarter of the 20th century, was manufactured in Philadelphia by Albert Schoenhut. The doll has carved and painted facial features with a closed mouth and blue eyes. Her carved short brown bobbed hairstyle is decorated with a pink painted head band with a bow in the back. She wears a lovely antique dress decorated with feather stitching, white cotton lace trimmed underclothing, red socks, and old leather shoes. The doll is in good condition with no repaint but some crazing to the paint layer on the head and paint wear on the body. I believe she is model 105 from Schoenhut’s Classic Period.
