This tintype, circa the late 19th century, depicts a serious young girl holding her German bisque head doll. Under close inspection, I believe the doll is a bisque shoulder head with a cloth or leather body and bisque hands. It appears that the doll has been costumed to resemble the outfit worn by the girl. The tintype measures 5 inches high by 3 5/8 inches wide. It is in good condition with some scratches to the surface.
