This 17 inch tall doll was created in an exclusive limited edition of 300 by R. John Wright Dolls for the 2006 Modern Doll Convention held in Las Vegas, Nevada. She is the first doll in the Commedia del’arte Collection. Columbine is a beautiful lady who is fully jointed with molded and painted facial features. She has a hand knotted mohair wig and wears an organdy costume decorated with felt roses. This particular doll is in excellent condition and arrives with her original box and Certificate of Authenticity indicating that she is number 97 of 300. The original R. John Wright felt rose napkin ring from the Starlight Serenade Banquet held on September 30, 2006 is also included. The R. John Wright Commedia del’arte Collection dolls are listed in “Jan Foulke’s Guide to Dolls, copyright 2011, on pages 257-260. Columbine is discontinued and no longer produced or available from R. John Wright Dolls.
