These two dolls are each 16 inches tall and made from black cotton twill fabric. They have facial features created from red and white felt. The dolls are jointed at the shoulders and hips. I am not sure of the age of the dolls themselves. They appear to be older than the clothing they currently wear but I am not sure. The cotton and wool clothing has some zigzag stitching that would not have been available to the home seamstress until the 1960s. Both dolls are in good clean condition. The clothing is sewn onto the dolls so I did not attempt to remove it. No matter what the age of 1960s or 1860s, these two are quite charming and would add some unique character to any doll collection. I hope they will find a good home with someone who will appreciate their charm.
