This 7 ½ inch tall bisque figurine, circa the late 19th century, is one of my favorites. I have owned this same German child through the years in several sizes and never fail to enjoy the charm of the little German miss getting ready to dive into the water. The girl is in good condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs except for a possible professional repair to the fingers she is holding to her lips. This is very difficult to see and I did not notice it until I took close up photos and used a black light. I like to display these figurines with German character dolls. This figurine is not made by Gebruder Heubach but exhibits the same quality.
