This 6 ¾ inch tall all bisque baby, circa the early 20th century, was manufactured in Germany. The baby is jointed at the shoulders and hips. The little guy has molded and painted facial features with an open/closed mouth, a solid dome head, and a bent limb baby body. He wears a molded white baby gown that has ruffling and tuck decoration. The baby has well defined fingers and toes with a chubby baby body and is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. There are a few small firing lines on the bottom of the feet that would have occurred when the doll was manufactured. Seldom are these larger babies found without some damage. This baby would be a great addition to any all bisque or antique baby doll collection and would be a wonderful baby doll for a larger German child doll.
