This 13 inch tall doll was manufactured in Germany circa the 1870s-80s. She has a wax over papier mache shoulder head with blue glass eyes. The body is cloth with wood and composition lower arms and lower legs ending in black heeled boots. The heels of the boots are chipped. The doll has a brown mohair wig that is appropriate but may be a replacement. She has antique white cotton and cotton flannel underclothing that appears to be original to the doll. The dress and bonnet is created from antique and vintage fabrics of silk, lace, and velveteen. I love this dolls perky little face and tiny nose. Her costume perfectly complements her and creates a darling vision of dolly delight.
